Beta Tester Terms & Conditions

1. Beta Program Purpose

The Selling Understood Beta Tester Program gives selected users early access to the Selling Understood website, training platform, courses, AI coaching tools, simulations, games, assessments, surveys, and related features while the platform is being tested and improved.

Beta testers are expected to actively use the platform and provide honest feedback that helps Selling Understood identify problems, improve usability, strengthen training content, and prepare the platform for public release.

2. Beta Access

Approved beta testers will receive access to the Selling Understood platform at no charge during the beta period.

Users who satisfy the requirements of the Beta Tester Program will receive unlimited lifetime access to the eligible Selling Understood content and services included in their beta offer, subject to these Terms.

“Lifetime access” means access for as long as Selling Understood continues to operate and make the applicable platform, course, or service available.

Lifetime access does not guarantee that every future Selling Understood product, course, premium service, enterprise feature, third-party service, or separately priced offering will automatically be included.

3. One User Per Email

Each beta account is limited to one individual user per registered email address.

An account may not be shared between:

• coworkers
• family members
• team members
• employees
• managers
• friends
• organizations
• any other person

Each individual who participates must register using their own email address and their own account.

4. Access Is Non-Transferable

Beta access and any resulting lifetime access are personal and non-transferable.

You may not:

• sell your account
• give your account to another person
• transfer your access
• share login credentials
• allow another person to complete training under your identity
• allow another individual to use your beta privileges
• assign lifetime access to another person or company

Lifetime access belongs only to the individual originally approved for the Beta Tester Program.

5. Beta Tester Requirements

To remain eligible for lifetime beta access, participants agree to reasonably participate in the testing process.

This may include:

• completing requested surveys
• providing honest feedback
• reporting bugs or technical problems
• identifying confusing or difficult areas of the website
• testing training activities and platform features
• sharing feedback about usability and learning experience
• providing a testimonial after having sufficient experience with the platform

Feedback does not need to be positive.

Selling Understood wants honest responses, including criticism.

Participation may be reviewed before lifetime access is finalized.

6. Testimonials

Beta testers may be asked to provide a testimonial describing their experience with Selling Understood.

A testimonial should reflect the user’s actual experience and honest opinion.

Selling Understood will not require a tester to make statements they do not believe.

Where testimonial permission is requested, the user will be given the opportunity to understand how their testimonial, name, title, company, image, or other identifying information may be used.

If separate permission options are presented, Selling Understood will follow the permission level selected by the user.

7. Surveys and Feedback

Beta testers agree that feedback submitted during the program may be used by Selling Understood to:

• improve the website
• improve training material
• develop new products
• correct technical problems
• improve AI systems and simulations
• improve customer experience
• analyze platform performance
• plan future services

Selling Understood may use anonymous or aggregated feedback for internal research and business development.

Public use of identifiable testimonials or quotes will follow any permission or consent provided by the participant.

8. Beta Software and Features

Beta products are still under development.

Users understand that beta features may:

• contain bugs
• temporarily stop working
• change without notice
• be redesigned
• be removed
• produce unexpected results
• experience interruptions
• lose temporary progress or data
• operate differently before final release

Participation in the beta program means accepting that the platform is being actively tested.

9. AI Features

Selling Understood may provide AI-powered coaching, simulations, customer personas, feedback, analysis, recommendations, and training experiences.

AI-generated feedback is intended for educational and training purposes.

It should not be treated as legal, financial, medical, employment, regulatory, compliance, or professional advice.

AI outputs may occasionally be incomplete, inaccurate, or inconsistent.

Users remain responsible for their real-world decisions and actions.

10. Training Recommendations

Certain games, assessments, AI simulations, or platform tools may analyze a learner’s responses and recommend areas of Selling Understood training that could help strengthen specific skills.

These recommendations are educational guidance.

They do not guarantee sales results, employment outcomes, income, promotion, business performance, or customer conversion.

11. Intellectual Property

All Selling Understood content remains the intellectual property of Selling Understood and its respective rights holders.

This includes, but is not limited to:

• training materials
• course structures
• frameworks
• terminology
• videos
• graphics
• games
• AI simulations
• customer personas
• assessments
• questions
• exercises
• certification systems
• software
• website content
• methodologies
• branding
• logos
• downloadable materials

Beta access gives the participant permission to personally use the content.

It does not transfer ownership.

12. Prohibited Use

Beta testers may not:

• copy substantial portions of the training
• reproduce the platform
• distribute training materials
• publish protected course content
• resell access
• scrape platform content
• reverse engineer proprietary features
• attempt to bypass access controls
• share restricted training material publicly
• upload proprietary materials to competing training systems for reproduction
• use Selling Understood content to create a competing course or product

Normal personal notes and reasonable discussion of what the learner has learned are allowed.

13. Account Security

Participants are responsible for protecting their login credentials.

If you believe your account has been accessed by another person, notify Selling Understood promptly.

Selling Understood may temporarily suspend an account when unauthorized sharing or unusual account activity is suspected.

14. Abuse and Misuse

Selling Understood may remove a participant from the Beta Tester Program for conduct including:

• account sharing
• fraud
• harassment
• intentional disruption of testing
• attempted system exploitation
• unauthorized copying
• abusive behavior
• false identity information
• repeated violation of program rules

Serious violations may result in loss of beta and lifetime access.

15. Lifetime Access Eligibility

Lifetime access is offered in exchange for genuine participation in the Beta Tester Program.

Selling Understood may require completion of the agreed beta responsibilities before lifetime access is permanently activated.

Once properly earned and activated, lifetime access will remain associated with the original registered user and email account, subject to these Terms.

Lifetime access may be revoked for fraud, account sharing, intellectual-property violations, platform abuse, or other material violations of these Terms.

16. No Guaranteed Results

Selling Understood provides training and educational tools.

Individual results vary.

Selling Understood does not guarantee:

• increased sales
• higher commissions
• employment
• promotions
• increased conversion rates
• increased revenue
• specific customer responses
• business growth
• certification recognition by third parties

The value of the training depends partly on the learner’s participation, application, experience, and circumstances.

17. Certification

Where certification is offered, participants must satisfy the applicable course, assessment, or testing requirements.

Beta participation alone does not automatically guarantee certification.

Selling Understood may establish separate certification standards, assessments, passing requirements, or integrity rules.

18. Privacy

Personal information collected through the Beta Tester Program may include:

• name
• email address
• role
• industry
• course activity
• survey responses
• training progress
• assessment results
• feedback
• platform usage data

Information will be handled according to the Selling Understood Privacy Policy and applicable law.

19. Communications

By joining the Beta Tester Program, participants agree to receive communications necessary to operate the beta program, including:

• access instructions
• testing requests
• survey invitations
• platform updates
• technical notices
• launch information

Marketing communications should be handled according to the participant’s applicable email preferences and consent.

20. Program Changes

Because this is a beta program, Selling Understood may modify:

• platform features
• testing requirements
• training content
• surveys
• AI features
• games
• course structure
• program timelines

Material changes affecting earned lifetime access should not be applied retroactively except where required for security, legal compliance, fraud prevention, or platform integrity.

21. Program Availability

Selling Understood may pause, modify, or discontinue the Beta Tester Program.

Beta enrollment may close at any time.

The number of beta testers may be limited.

Submitting an application does not guarantee acceptance.

22. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Selling Understood is not responsible for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or business losses resulting from use of the beta platform.

Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude rights or liabilities that cannot legally be excluded.

23. Beta Platform Provided As-Is

During beta testing, the platform and related features are provided on an “as-is” and “as-available” basis to the extent permitted by law.

Selling Understood does not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation during the beta period.

24. Governing Terms

These Beta Tester Terms work together with any applicable:

• Terms of Use
• Privacy Policy
• Cookie Policy
• Certification Rules
• Acceptable Use Policy
• Test Integrity Rules

If a conflict exists, the more specific rule for the applicable service or program will govern.

25. Agreement

By selecting “I Agree,” “Join the Beta,” “Create Account,” or otherwise participating in the Beta Tester Program, the participant confirms that they have read and agree to these Beta Tester Terms & Conditions.
